Hi, I’m Eva Hayman, a 17-year-old second-year college student studying Media and Graphic Design. Since starting my course, I’ve discovered a strong passion for animation. There’s something incredibly rewarding about bringing my sketches to life, and the entire process—from concept to movement—fascinates me more every day.
Art has always been a significant part of my life. From a young age, drawing has been my creative escape and my favourite way to express myself in my free time.
In 2022, I was diagnosed with Autism after previously being diagnosed with anorexia, a mental health condition. Despite the challenges I’ve faced, art has been a powerful tool in helping me focus on positive energy and personal growth.
During my year in the hospital, I remained dedicated to my education, successfully passing all my GCSEs—including Media, where I achieved a distinction. That accomplishment fuelled my decision to pursue Media and Graphic Design at college.
I am a highly driven individual, and my autism has allowed me to embrace my attention to detail as a strength—something I believe is a superpower in the creative industry. My goal is to develop my own unique style and creative voice, becoming one of the next generation of animators and directors!
Although my path over the last few years has been challenging, overcoming my mental health conditions has made me the resilient, determined person I have become today. I am extremely excited for my future and look forward to the next chapter of my life.
